Potato Donut

Just wanna try a simple recipe which doesn't need a lot of ingredients. Finally found this recipe from old ncc archive. The pic doesn't look so good, but i swear the taste is good and has soft texture ^_^. Hope you enjoy!

500 gr high protein flour
50 gr powder milk
11 gr yeast
200 gr potato, steam then mashed
100 gr sugar
75 gr butter
½ tsp salt
4 egg yolks
100 ml cold water

How to:

- in a bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, milk and yeast, then put in mashed potato and egg yolks, blend to be half dough.
- Add butter and salt, keep blend it to be a perfect dough.
- Cut the dough 50gr for each, round and let them rest for about 20 minutes until become twice bigger.
- Make hole in the middle, shaped like ring, fry until golden brown in medium heat oil.
- Garnish with mint sugar powder or as you like it.
